In this sequel to the very popular 'Waste for Windows', FATBuster scans the disk(s) you specify and not only tells you how much space is being wasted given the current cluster and partition size settings, it also tells you how much you would waste if you changed to other cluster sizes. You can therefore make an intelligent, informed decision as to whether or not to repartition your disk, because you'll know exactly how much space you would or wouldn't be saving at all prospective cluster sizes. Large hard disks are now common, and you could be wasting literally hundreds of megabytes of space. |
